Item set up : define the behavior of a module according to an answer (triggers)

Triggers are very useful item settings.

In your module, you can decide what happens when a learner completes an item, according to a response he gives or does not give, through “scenarios”.

Setup

 (Module > + Add Item/ Existing Item> Settings):

 Click + Create new trigger.

Select the answers to be selected in order to launch the trigger.

 Choose the action to perform.

You can also add a message to be displayed.

Here is an example:

In this case, the student has to select the answers 1 and 4, which are synonymous. If only answer 1 “They turn around the sun” is selected, then he will get back to element 4: “The sun”, then  we can imagine that it will be explained the rotation of planets. This will display the following message: “Your answer is right, but another one used a better scientific vocabulary to express the same ideas, see the element “sun” to understand this word properly. “
